Ludovica Basso aka Clorophilla
a versatile italian artist and illustrator who lives in front of the sea, travelling the other part of her time.
Since she was pretty young, Clorophilla expresses her creativity very freely, leaving her mark on different surfaces around, experimenting and using different materials: clothes, antique family portraits, fabrics, leather bags, each object is transfomed and renovated as unique..
Her world is an imaginary one made of magical creatures, hearts on fire, falling stars, ex voto, where holy and unholy come together and there’s no bound between different arts.
Very inspiring for her art are her trips around the globe, during which she fills sketchbooks of drawings and notes.
She also manages an Artistic House in Liguria furnished with her creations and located on the top of an ancient Saracen village.
